Dan Livingstone / Figerstyle Guitar, Dobro and Vocals
Founder of The Griffintown Jug Addicts, fingerstyle blues guitarist Dan Livingstone has been receiving acclaim from musicians and audiences alike as an exceptional fingerstyle guitar player and an engaging performer. Whether playing rags, swing, blues or spirituals, his expressive style marks him as a musician with “big ears” and a passion for the authentic. Born and raised on the west coast of Canada, Dan has toured extensively in Norway, Germany, France and Belgium. He has also toured in China, Ireland, Greece, and the U.S. His appearances and concerts across Canada over the last decade have included festivals and concerts from coast to coast, appearing at the Montreal Jazz Festival, Mont Tremblant Blues festival, and the Carleton International Blues Festival to name but a few.
Stéphane Tellier / Guitar and Vocals
Considéré comme un virtuose dans le style jazz manouche, Stéphane Tellier s’inspire tantôt du folklore québécois, tantôt de la musique roumaine, égyptienne, indienne, mais aussi du flamenco et du style manouche. Sa démarche, aujourd’hui connue du grand public pour son solo de guitare dans la bande sonore du film d’animation Les triplettes de Belleville, est teintée de ces multiples influences musicales qu’il manipule et transforme à travers ses interprétations et ses nombreuses compositions. Musicien de renom, il a collaboré avec une pléiade d’artistes, notamment Kevin Parent, Lara Fabian et Tricot machine, avant de lancer un premier album éponyme de compositions originales en 2010. Compositeur émérite, Stéphane Tellier a également signé la bande sonore des films Tiens ferme, de Stéphane Patenaude, et Les passeurs, de Hejer Charf. (Translation coming soon)
